Emotional Backbone - By Karen Leslie, writer with heart

To need someone doesn’t make us needy or weak…To lean on a loved one in times of conflict shows inner strength to “trust” in a safe environment.

Awareness of our environment and existence, sensations and thoughts, becoming inwardly attentive to our state of being, is how we gage and gain perspective for our emotional balance.

Our emotional alignment is important to ensure the stability of life.  It is said, one grain of sand can tip the scales and it is so when pertaining to our thoughts.  The rewards of cultivating the practice of becoming connected with ourselves and loved ones are many!

Be in the presence of people who nurture you through-and-through, who listens and responds to you from their precious hearts. Believe in the power of intention, positive thought and words spoken to another, because right now, you are writing the storyline of your future, how it plays out is up to you. Trust your inner voice then go out and share it!

Now I ask you... Who in your life supports your truth?
